ExxonMobil believes carbon capture and storage is key to creating jobs across America. For decades, we've been working to capture emissions in our own operations. In fact, our efforts have accounted for approximately 40% of all the anthropogenic CO2 ever captured.3 Now, we’re expanding our operations on the Gulf Coast to other businesses, with the goal of supporting jobs and the potential to reduce CO2 emissions across the Gulf Coast by more than 100 million metric tons per year.4 CCS is the future of American industry, driving job creation and reducing emissions.
